My dad has this old Mossberg 500 pump that has been around the block a few times. He sawed the 28 in barrel down to 18.5 inch. It would of been cheaper to buy a home defense barrel, but anyway... He wants to hunt with me this year so I ordered him a brand new factory-ported barrel. The problem is that the new barrel, which was flat black, did not match his glossy receiver. So I decided to do a makeover. He wanted a modern, angle-type of camouflage. So after 3 different colors of ultra flat Rustolem and blue painter's tape, this is the finished product:

Very different, but it looks great!

You may have already done it, but from my experience the Krylon camo needs a clear coat over it. I used Krylon satin finish. It holds up much better than just the camo paint. Rustoleum may be different, but since your job looks good, I thought I'd throw the suggestion out there.

Good job there way to think outside the box on your design, this is one reason I love duracoating is I get to be creative in what I do.

Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary, that's what gets you.

you must realize that fear is not real, It is a product of thoughts you create. Do not misunderstand, danger is very real, but fear is our choice!

If you use matte or satin, it doesn't.
