Been looking for a deal on a used Freedom Arms 44 Mag for a while and found this one online on another gun forum. Wasn't really looking for a 10 incher but it was such a great deal I couldn't refuse. We have since bonded.

Very nice, Ben! I'll bet it will put 'em all in an inch at 50 yards, too.

Freedom Arms revolvers are honest to goodness works of art. I hope to own one some day, congrats on your find!

Thanks guys. The vast majority of Freedom Arms revolvers are in 454 Casull caliber and it's not conducive to a lot of shooting, just too punishing to be pleasurable. I reload my own ammo and shoot quite a lot, almost exclusively with cast lead bullets. I target shoot for pleasure and I love the 44 Mag caliber. It's so very versatile for the reloader.

here's your gun's little brother. It's one of my favorite guns. it's a 4-1/4 mdl 97 in 44 spcl. it likes 255gr keith bullets at ~1180. my other load is a 270 gr WFN at ~1150. my only complaint is the factory front sight is a bit wide for my tastes. on the short barrel, it tends to fill up the rear sight. i have plans to get Clements to make me one of his front sights in .100" width. congratulations on your FA!
