my brother got ahold of a 1951 savage model 342 i beilieve..
its a bolt action 22 hornet with side mount scope.

hes put a lot of work into this rifle[beautiful rifle i must add] and he had it looked at by a gunsmith who said the action was in such great shape it looked almost new[ its 60 years old]

but its missin a clip and we have not found anything so far!
so if anyone knows a website or business i can find a clip for that rifle please let me know!

There are a couple on Gunbroker, one says its for a Savage model 340 in 22 hornet. The other one looks just like the first one but not as clean.
