I am wanting to get an ankle holster for a backup gun.

Anybody ever use the Fobus Ankle Holster?

Get the Galco Ankle Glove, I wear it everyday with a G27, comfortable and very secure even while running.

Fobus? Not for anything.

Their paddle holsters are decent, but I would be leery of a hard plastic ankle rig. If an ankle rig isn't totally comfortable it's a lot like an old ball and chain...

That's true, and make sure your gun is a light one. It will get heavy on your ankle.

I went ahead and ordered the Galco Ankle Glove for the Ruger SP101 as my back up gun.

We will see how comfortable she is

You'll like it, it is made of a stretchy neoprene material that is soft and has a sheepskin backing on the back side of the holster. The holster part is leather.

I've never used the "garter" for it but do have the boot extender that I used breifly. The neoprene material stretches enough to not need it.
