My dad is buying an older liberty washington model gun safe. That particular model is no longer available it was replaced by the presidential safe. He is going to give 1000$. Iknow this is a good brand (liberty)but just wanted to get your ideas on the product and price? Thanks

Liberty makes some bad a!! safes. I bought one from craigslist last year for 1000.00. It is about ten years old as well and just like new. I am very happy with it as it retailed for 2400 ten years ago,I have the orig sales receipt from the guy who bought it. The shelving configuration is easily changed to suit your needs. Tell him to go for it and he will have a lifetime safe for him, you, and his grandson. He could buy a new safe for the same money at a big box store for the same money but would not have near the quality as the Liberty. Just my 2 cents.
