I bought this rifle in 1977 after graduating from high school.It is a rem. adl 270. I have several more deer rifles but this is my favorite. It has a 2.5 lb. trigger and is still a tack driver.I have a rifle rigged up that is worth over 1500.00 and I prefer to take the gun I bought at k-mart 32 years ago and paid 156.00 for it. The reason I prefer to take it beside being sentimental to me is the fact that it outshoots everything I have.I replaced the 30 year old scope 2 years ago (redfield 6x) that I paid 69.00 for and sold it for 60.00. You talk about things holding their value. The leather sling is almost as old as the gun , It was handmade by a friend of mine.

for teh last two rifles....if it aint broke don't fix it!

we occasinally hunt with a guy who hunts with an old belgium made (never heard of the brand) .270 with an old weaver 6x. thing is at least 50 years old but one of the sweetest shooting rifles I've ever seen

I remember as a kid asking my dad if I could clean it. I drooled over that gun for a long long time.

x2, some of my dad's guns are well older than I am (not that it takes much) and the majority of them are tack drivers. My favorite is an old browning lever action 257rbts. Used to be his favorite gun to hunt with, but he hasn't used it much since winchester quit producing the 100gr silvertips for it.

i dont have pics but my gun looks a lot like bmd 300 except its in a 308. made by the same guy as well. mine has a 3x9x40 zeiss conquest on the top

I know right, I have already killed a 151" main frame 8 with split g2s , killed it with my ole .270 TC Pro Hunter!!
