The other new thread concerning White River Energetics Primers and the subsequent link to where to purchase them, lead me down a little rabbit hole when I noticed that "Republic Ammunition" had another brand of primer that I hadn't tried before... the "Exakt" primers.

And this lead to finding this vendor that is selling the SPP for $45/brick and SRP for $52/brick.

Anyone tried any of these Exakt primers before?

Doesn't surprise me. Guessing they're foreign which doesn't bother me since we can't seem to get our act together. If they are halfway decent and less expensive, I would expect some sort of embargo in the future.

Interested in the outcome for sure. I am also looking at the 22 ammo. For $75/1000 maybe it shoots as good as my SK ammo

If you end up receiving your order, I will probably order some of the .22 LR ammo. The address listed on the website goes to a residence, which does concern me.

Solid experience with this vendor. Had a tracking number within hours of ordering, package was in possession of UPS the following day and UPS delivered it today. Putting this vendor in the legit category.

Your post just reminded me that I owe an update. I did load up 500 of the SPP and took them to the range (did not try the SRP yet). All 500 went bang and otherwise performed well. No notable difference in FPS or accuracy using the identical load data from the previous rounds loaded using CCI SPPs. 500 is a pretty small sample size, so take it for what it's worth but as of right now, I have no issues with ordering a few cases of these primers. As far as I'm concerned, based on my current experience, and until I have a reason to believe otherwise, these are reliable primers at one of the lowest prices currently available.

They do say on the box that they are made in Indonesia... However, my deep dive into the company has discovered they are likely made in Russia at the Klimovsk Specialized Ammunition Plant in Klimovsk, Russia (near Moscow) and via a business arrangement with Indonesia, they're sidestepping the Russian import bans.

Shhhh...

The Russians definitely have plenty experience making primers.
