I saw that today at Mineral wells state park. Woman next to it had a shaved head. Wasn’t a big TT, but I wonder how far she could get in it.

Was it an airstream? If so I saw it yesterday in dripping springs.

Mighta asked her for the info. Genuinely curious as well given the reports on the lightning range being less than usable when under a load.

Amazon most of their delivery trucks are Rivian in my area, must work pretty good.
I have a fulfillment center up the road from me, I see hundreds of them going down the street early in the morning, and the Amazon Van in my neighborhood are all Rivian

I was gonna ask her for specifics on towing with the Rivian, but when we walked back by there she had already hooked up and left. I assumed she was from Austin.

I'd own a Rivian...they are fast as hell, look good and could save a lot of money for an "in and around town" vehicle...save money is a relative term, meaning if you were going to spend that much on a vehicle anyway and already had something to drive longer distances. Not going to lie, I'm intrigued...

So the real world report showed a range of about 120-130 miles for the rivian while towing a small camper. Pretty much in line with the lightning.

How long to re-charge? Hours?
I have driven the pick-up, 800+ HP...quick as hell!
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

Yeah for just an around town kind of thing, its ok. But I couldn't even get up to my place in OK with a load and reliably turn around and come home.
In the report, it said using 110V charger, it takes 4 days...

Here's my question about any electric vehicle, what will they be worth when you have 80,000 or 90,000 miles on them? Who would buy them? From what I have read, batteries are very expensive to replace. You can't just replace the batteries and expect to have a brand new vehicle.
