I have been on some on those rides, good stuff. But I ain’t jumping from a plane
My scariest ride was on was on 285 heading north out of Pecos about twelve years ago. It was raining and the roads were so muddy from all of the trucks that you could not tell where the pavement started or stopped, and the big trucks were flying by like it was a sunny day. I emptied my windshield squirter in the first couple of miles. I sure was glad to get to Orla.

I studied Spanish abroad through Texas Tech in San Luis Potosi, Mexico for 3 or 4 months...the worst ride I ever had was when we took a bus from San Luis to one of our excursions (guanajuato, guadalajara, mexico city, not sure which one it was). We were on a chartered Mercedes bus but the windows had drapes stapled over the windows so you couldn't see out, so I took out a few staples to see the country. I found out quick why they were stapled, cause there was pretty much a one lane road with no guard rail and cars going both directions through the mountains...we made it somehow, but my arse was puckered the whole way!! Felt like we could have slid off that road down the mountain at ANY point

I'm not. But I've been in or close to the community from time to time.

Demon Drop at Cedar Point was pretty spectacular...a couple buddies and I took some girls up there for a turn and burn (leave Friday evening and get home Sunday morning early)...one of them summed up the ride perfectly, she got off crying and laughing at the same time rofl

Had a pretty wild ride on the back of a CBR1000 in high school...3 or 4 telephone poles lengths and went from rolling start to 130. I wanted nothing more than to get off that thing roflmao

I'm pretty certain a ride in BigPig's Rzr would be similar...I'm at the age where I am done putting my life in others hands, willfully anyway.

When I was young and foolish, The "Kamay Ditches" in Wichita County, near Holiday, Texas. Did it twice back to back.

There was a bunch of irrigation canals for farming that had to be channeled under a two lane county road. The water choked down, into concrete diverters and into a tunnel that went under the road at a really high rate, sorta like white water rapids underground, coming out the other side. If all went well, you jumped in the canal and rode it into the tube, under the road way totally submerged and popped up on the other side.

An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

There have been many, most of you would not believe. I think it’s purely a stroke of good luck, and probably some divine intervention, that I did not die or go to prison a long time ago.

I have had a few bad jumps. One time I refused to pop my reserve with a squid, I kicked and kicked and kicked and my chute opened up about when I should have started pulling my slip. About the time I got my chute packed the medics swarmed me, apparently everybody assumed i was in critical condition. But I was ok.

Probably the worst one, I don’t remember all the details other than somebody screaming at me and grabbing at me. I was like wtf do you want? Finally he calmed down and tried to tell me to pull my canopy release and i was like bro, I got this, i am not stupid. It took me a minute to realize i got knocked out and I was being dragged. He was completely gassed out, sprinting next to me, trying to help me. Wind dragged me a long way.

Apparently we had a hard gust of wind and i got knocked all the way tf out when i landed. I thought I was ok though, popped my canopy release and packed my chute, ran to the assembly point. The JM kept asking us if anyone has any issues or wanted to see the doc. Typical brief but he kept repeating himself looking right at me i am like bro i am good. I guess the adrenaline never wore off.

When I got home I had the stereotype TBI symptoms, black eyes no other bruising on the head or face lol. Nasty headache lasted for a couple of weeks.

I had to do a 12 miler like tuesday or wednesday, and i never went to the doc. In part due to peer pressure not gonna lie, I knew I would get railroaded as a promotable E5 in sick call.

But I haven’t been the same since.

Foam landing in a DC 9 when the landing gear would not deploy.

Unplanned landing during a thunderstorm on the Tundra on the west side of Hudson's Bay in a Bell Jet Ranger.

1000 miles in a 35+ year old AN 24 across Uzbekistan about 8 years after the Soviet Union dissolved. Plane looked pretty beat up and was shaking pretty bad the whole ride. Uzbek pilot was drunk as a skunk.

My dad and his buddies still talk about playing in the KaMay ditches when they were kids. He took me there back in the late 90's or early 2000's. We both went through it once and I guess he immediately regretted it cause I wasn't allowed to do it again. Pretty sketchy in hindsight - no telling what could have gotten wedged in those tunnels.

Hot, "incredible legs, next door neighbor when she got angry!!!

That was the scariest, and I do mean she was scary when she thought I was with another woman.

Cavorting with a woman who lives close-by is very dangerous!
They are always watching your every move.

Addendum: Good grief we had a lot of fantastic private fun!

...!

That road up to Ski Apache is a doozy! Rivals the Million Dollar Hiway from Silverton to Ouray.
