What is the most exotic car or cars you have ridden in. For me, it was an original Shelby Cobra 427. Never been in a Rolls or a Ferrari. I don’t count Corvettes, though the latest version looks mighty good.

Honestly, I can't remember if I rode in it, but Dad was friends with a guy that had, among many other cars, a boat-tail Dusenberg. Yeah, like Clark Gable owned. That car made a definite impression on me. The sound of that beauty...

A couple Rolls.
An antique Bentley.
A super charged DeLorean.

Been in a few Ferrari's and one Lambo, all nice. One of the Ferrari's was very fast and cornered very well. A friend's dad had an original Cobra, and that was awesome! But, the new C8's, um, yes. If something can be American Exotic, that's it! It's amazing! C8 gets my vote!

Buddy of mines Dad had several Lambos. Had at one time a Gallardo superleggera that I rode in once.

Most cars don’t excite me. I love cars but the exotic sports cars never have done much for me. I don’t like Ferraris or Porsches either.

However, Rolls Royce and Bentley are special. The cost of them are outrageous, but if I lived in another life where I was an east coast aristocrat; I would love to own a Phantom or a Wraith.

It would have to be a Cougar Eliminator exactly like this one. My best friend in HS had it and it had so much power and speed that it scared me to death when he got into it. A 17 year old kid shouldn`t be able to drive a car with this much power and speed. I have always wondered what happened to the car.

Never had any rich friends but I did get to ride in some pretty exotic jeepney's in the Philippines.

I drove in my friends Pacer Wagon when we were car pooling after highschool to work.

‘63 split window Corvette w/427 and Muncie 4 speed. Pure, raw horsepower.

1992, I was working at Briarcrest Country Club in Bryan. Lady comes in and asks that her car be valeted. It is about 25 feet from the parking area, but she hands me her keys and I go out.

It is a Bentley. I put the key in and turn it. Nothing. So I reach over and hit the start button and park it.

I walked in and gave the lady her keys.

It turns out it is a running joke with them as no one knew about the starter button. They watch from the inside to see how long the valet would wait until giving up.

I was the first to not get stumped.

She gave me $10.

I have never been in anything special since that did not have wings.

Nothing that I recall.

The closest I got to an exotic was taking an Uber ride to the airport in Munich a few years ago. Car was a Škoda , but the dude drove it like a Ferrari down the autobahn.

Delorean probably most exotic. Best was a 55 Chevy, with the shot it was touching 1k hp to wheels. Sold at Barret Jackson a few months later. Worked for the guy when I was a teenager. Told me to get it cleaned up and I said as long as I can get a ride at the end of the day. Spent all day on it. 1700 came and he said let’s go. Popped the trunk and cranked the valve wide open. Spun those slicks up and down Irving blvd. Kinda speed that’ll keep you from breathing for a second.

My Uncle Tom had a car called a Stuts. I thought it was an ugly pos and was kinda embarrassed to ride in it.
Later I found out it’s kinda cool.

I got to drive a friend’s Lotus Europa. Tiny car
Rode in an early 60’s. Maserati. My father had a friend who owned it. Was 80’s, no cell phones, he and his wife were driving to Flagstaff for lunch and I drove the chase truck/trailer in case it broke down.

I sat in a real Cobra Daytona Coupe. An instructor I had it was her husband’s. He bought it for next to nothing when it was brought back from racing in Europe. They didn’t want to pay the tariff and it was to be destroyed.
Now it is considered priceless.

A friend just out of high school when I was in my drag/street race phase...well his dad was the original owner of a 1963 Corvette Stingray Z06 of which 199 were made. Yes, he bought it new and still had it until a few years ago. It had 37K miles and every original part that was replaced. The original wheel covers were still in the boxes. The '63 split window Z06 had the 360HP fuel injected 327, close ratio M21 4-speed, a 36 gallon fuel tank, 4.30:1 gears, and special ducted air cooled DRUM brakes. Tom lived behind the Kroger on 121 in Lewisville. He sold the car for around a quarter million about a decade ago.

Coolest was a 58 Impala a friend in HS put together, White tuck and roll on the inside, 283 with 3 duces, and a Hurst 4 speed. Little block had some horses that would push your head back.

The 1963 Corvette Stingray was the only model that had the split window in the back. People didn`t like it so they never made them after 1963.

exotic would probably be a porsche 911 (did nothing for me)...but most impressive would be between a Z06 vette and a 72 Monte Carlo that would pull the front left wheel off the ground.

It was either a Grand National or a T Type. They never made a “Grand National T Type”.

No exotic but I drove a 1923 model T around Greenville in 1960 and owned a 1940 ford 2 dr sedan.In 1962 I bought a 1955 chevy .
The most exotic thing I drove was a army mule that would go over,thru anything.

Model-T Touring. Mid 20s model I believe. Wood spokes on the wheels.

It was a mid 60s British green import 2 seater convertable. I want to say it was a Triumph, but do not recal model. It wasnt a compact. I was 15 or 16, has been a while.

After that an array of 60s muscle cars. I had the opportunity to get under a number of hoods.

No i take that back. My mom used to have a jaguar. That’s easily the most exotic thing i have ridden in or driven.

Early 80's Mail Jeep. Was my hunting truck at the time. It was camo and I had a 4x4 box mounted on the roof.

I owned a BMW M3 for a while, and have ridden in several Porches and Ferraris.

Over the years, we, as a family had a 280ZX, a 300ZX, a Triumph Spitfire, a Triumph TR6, a Mazda RX7, a Toyota MR2, and a BMW 5 Series. Fun cars, but not what I’d call exotic. They all ran fine though the Triumph Misfire needed much attention, and the TR6 needed constant maintenance. But the TR6 was for the youngest daughter for her High School car, and she and I loved that car. Troublesome, but wonderful when I got it running good. I became a good Zenith Stromberg side draft carb man.

I always wanted to ride in a Rolls.

I had a girlfriend back in '99/2000, and she had a convertible Jaguar, probably an 80s model.
