Thirty years ago when we moved to McKinney, the deer population was at zero according to Texas Fish and Game. We left to go back to our ranch in west Texas in '17. Even in the undeveloped land and areas around McKinney no one had ever seen a deer. I never saw one the whole time we lived there. It just amazed me there were no deer. It was probably ten plus years later when folks started saying they were seeing deer north of the Airport. I've heard they have a nice population now!

That's a heck of a buck. Congratulations South of the airport there are some whoppers too, I seen deer in that area after the season that had me in shock. These deer are different, not sure where they came from but they’re giants.

Love to see your success - congratulations! I was blessed to have a spot to hunt in Collin County for a few years and so loved it - unfortunately the area was lost to development and building. Hope to someday find another area like it; until then it's great to see what others are getting around here.
