Figured I'd bring this thread back to life. For anyone wanting BT, Planet Spirit in Princeton has quite a stock for $35.

Not a terrible price but is should be around $25. Im lucky, I've got a store that sells all their allocated bottles at MSRP.

I agree, but $35 is better than most stores trying to sell for $50+. Use to have a store like that back in Arkansas, but haven't found one yet since moving back.

My Specs had probably 30+ bottles of BT a couple of weeks ago $26ish for the 750ml. I haven't been back since to see if they still have some.

My specs said they get shipment on 1 Thursday a month. But don’t know which Thursday.

I told him thanks for nothing.

Specs near me is the same….I’ll roll through there on Thursdays…when they get it, it’s a few cases….limit is two, but if there I buy it. Weller is the same. They are both 24.95 I think.

Bought the Larceny instead of Elijah Craig. It’s not bad!

Thanks for the recommendation Superduty!

I have read that Goody Goody carries a store brand called Kelsey Creek that is basically a nine year aged Eagle Rare. Not sure if that is true or not.

It is Buffalo Trace but I doubt its aged 9 years. ER is age stated as 10. Most likely a four or five year aged bourbon.

Some of the best bourbons are only aged 5-7 years. Booker’s for example, but I’m partial.

Kelsey Creek is made by Barton 1792. They are owned by Sazerac who also owns Buffalo Trace,

This has been a good read. Larceny is pretty kick azz, especially for the price and availability. [Linked Image]

From a commonsense perspective, I completely agree with you. Would I pay that,,,, hell no. There are knuckle heads out there that will light money on fire for certain bottles. One could make the same argument when it comes to high end mechanical watches. I'm not talking about a stainless sport model that has 28,800 beats per hour like what's on your wrist. There are countless people that have a high tolerance to torching money for a Richard Mille. The price for one of them is laughable. At the end of the day, what something is worth, is what someone else is willing to pay for it....
