I'm gonna attempt to make a holster for my Cowboy Gun. I need some pics to get me started. Help a brutha out.

SWEET!
I was trying to figure out how they attach to the belt. Some are made into the belt, some slide. I was admiring the one bigsky had in his pics of his pistol, bit I can't see by the pics how it goes on the belt.

I used to help my uncle out around his leather shop in the summers and the very first question he asked was 'Are you gonna carry this to hunt with, or to impress your buddies?'. I still have the rig he built for me for my 13th birthday (for a 4" 686). It's a hunting rig through and through, fits me like a glove (well I should say fit me like a glove until I got fat). It was a high ride Bill Jordan style holster on a 4" lined belt. I'll see if I can dig up some pics...

does that pistol drag the ground when you wear that belt? No!  Its a 7.5" barrel Ruger Vaquero 44 Mag!

very cool holster rig jcb.  Thanks! I really want a double rig now that I have another Vaquero to match the one in the pic! But I dont do cowboy action shooting, and its just not practical for hunting situations so I am not sure I will ever have a double made!
