Usher was/is an entertainer, dancer then singer in that order that hasn't regularly toured or recorded albums in last 10-15 years. Any of these recognized songs are 15-20 years past; knew this would hurt the halftime show, dusting that 45 yo off. Would have preferred U2, Aerosmith or some other rock group over Usher retread stuff. Usher...never heard of him until now. I can boarder line tolerate him. The other rap-crap I about threw a rock threw my tv! I would agree with you I would have preferred U2, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Scorpions, Def Leppard, eta al. FWIW, I have been pleased to see the religious/family oriented ads.
