I call them with rabbit and bird distress sounds. Easy to call and trap. Just be patient when calling and call to dense cover.
Adios,
gary

I have never trapped a bobcat, but have called in many using a Foxpro caller. Any electronic caller that has different call options will work great. I have not used an Ultrasonic caller but have heard great things. Obviously if you can have some sort of blood scent from a recent kill you can get the smellers going. The rabbit distress calls have worked great for me, i usually let it rip for about 5mins then let it rest for another 5..repeat for about 30mins..if nothing comes in a change up call or length of call. Gotta be patient and if you have dense cover, brush or a nearby creek to call from even better. Best of luck!

Not a lot of calling experience but have only called in one bobcat. See way more deer hunting because they will hunt the rabbits and squirrels eating corn under the feeder

I have trapped a couple bobcats while using dirt hole sets for coyotes. It happened by chance and wasn’t planned about 10% of the time. Same with foxes.

I have killed bobcat at night with a thermal while coyote / hog hunting as well. They seem to be 10% of what I have encountered while predator hunting. Never called them, just saw them through thermal.
