The first of three West Texas Big Bobcat Contests is this weekend. With the wind blowing at 20 from the NW and then switching around to the north sometime Sunday morning, may make it challenging. I think might favor teams hunting further south as they will have more time to hunt before the storm arrives.
This year, we are sweetening the pot. Any team using a FREQ ultrasonic caller that wins a category will get an additional $1,000 from us. Just show proof of purchase and photos of the team with dead critters and the FREQ so that we can use on our website. Good luck to all the guys and gals participating in the hunts.
Adios,
Gary

I just bought the call but I think for the price the tripod should come with it. I’m excited to see what it does this February.

521 teams hunted the contest which is down a little, due to the weather. I estimate that 40-50 of the teams were using the FREQ and Jeremy Harrison told me that 4 of the nine category winners were using the FREQ. I know of another team that killed 5 cats but did not get enough fox or coyotes to score the cats.
Thanks to all the folks who purchased the FREQ and good luck in ALL of the hunts.
Adios,
Gary
