Wondering if anyone has first-hand experience with it.

Application would be solely for hunting. (Typically under 350 yards but mostly at 100 yards)

Wrestling between the post and standard duplex with a green dot.

What say ye?

I’ve never shot the post style, but have two Accupoints with the standard duplex reticle. For hunting and/or target shooting, I can’t image the post would be a better setup. Love the green dot. Seems to help me focus better on the specific spot I want to hit.

I'd have to look at the reticle. I always saw the "post" reticle for fast shots at close targets.

I am not a fan of the post reticle. I can’t think of any benefits or advantages it offers over a traditional reticle in hunting situations . If you are shooting at 350 yards you would certainly benefit having some kind of gradations on your reticle for elevation/wind holds.

I had the post reticle on an accupoint scope for a brush gun set up

I like it for shots in that range you’re looking at, 100-150 is ideal since there are no dots or lines to sight in for longer yardage

Overall, great scope and would get another one again if I needed a scope for that purpose
