Recently, there's been some question about which call company invented the first digital game caller. This photo of a 1992 Burnham Brothers catalog should put that question to rest. Murry Burnham built the first digital caller in 1990 and began marketing in 1991. I purchased he company in August of 1991 and this is the cover of the 1992 catalog where we aggressively began marketing the Compucaller. As you know, this is years before any of the present day call companies were around.
Murry's motto was that Burnham Brothers were always the "Innovators, not the Immitators". We are still the innovators in predator calling as now we are the first to produce an e-caller that will produce a full spectrum of sound, including ultrasonics. [Linked Image]

Hey Gary, is there any warranty left on my Burnham Bros. 18v scope light I bought around 1972? It was a giant improvement over taping the D cell flashlights to the barrel of my 22.

They made a 'headband' light (similar to that) a few years later that had a snap on red lens, a potentiometer to adjust brightness and ran off a 9vdc battery.

Great little light for the day, but Coyotes would hear the 'hum' of the potentiometer if set on anything but full bright.

Used to love going to their store in Marble Falls and visiting with them.

Thanks for the post. Looks like you might have put a few miles on that one, warranty may be expired.
Adios,
Gary
