Anybody know where I can buy this tiny conduit, so I can "upgrade" the design flaw in my 3 other Outdoor Addiction feeders? My son and I scrounged this in the barn and found this off an old solar panel rig for a feeder. Coons can reach this one wire, in a light plastic covering, that goes down to the motor below. realmad

The aluminum conduit, not the wiring harness.

had a solar panel mounted outside the cage with that metal flex conduit going to the timer box ... just made for a better trapeze for the coons, they finally ripped both ends out and rendered the solar panel useless.

be sure to attach really good on both ends (I thought mine was).

Attach really good and then use JB Weld.

Buy some dogproof coon traps
If you have some, buy some more.

IMO there's no shortcut to getting around the freeloading
good for nothing varmints. I've tried hunting varmints and
and doing things to block out varmints from damaging
property and vegetables and killing poultry and eating
eggs and ravaging the game birds and nests and small
game and fawns.
Traps are the only thing that works 24/7
Either that or put up with it forever

Might try some copper tubing in place of aluminum wire sheath.

Flex conduit at any elec supply house. It's steel or aluminum, called green field. https://www.electriflex.com/product-catalog/?fwp_product_types=unjacketed-metallic

Another vote for copper tubing, the coons WILL eventually unravel that accordion flex stuff like a bad sweater.

Put a zip tie on the flex conduit on the inside of the timer box. That should keep it from getting pulled out

I actually had the threaded couplers locked down pretty tight, they still pulled out both ends ... coon acrobatics

I am extremely late to this thread but I wanted to share some ideas that may help you and or others.
You can buy a small piece of MC cable at Lowe's or Home Depot. It is a metal flexible outer cover
for 12 awg wire. Just pull the wire out and put your wire in it. It is flexible but not sure it is flexible enough
but it may be worth a try. As far as the threaded couplers working I have had those ornery raccoons pull
out the ends on my cabling as well so I took some black electrical tape and rolled a whole lot of it around the ends
and created a big rubber type washer around it. When they pulled that the electrical tape just dug into the small
hole opening and those raccoons couldn't get it pulled out. Just my 2 cents.

Try Elliot Electric, they're an electrical supply store found in many places I've used em from the valley to up here in Killeen. They usually have most anything like your looking for and are pretty helpful.

Easy to find and strong though not as flexible is copper tubing. I have used it on several feeders to thwart the squirrels and raccoons that seemed to like to hang on it.

'Had to rob some little flex conduit off a 6V solar panel on a feeder I just put into "retirement," to fix another Outdoor Addiction feeder that quit due to coons yanking and rubbing a short in the wire to the motor today...in the mist. realmad Two fixed now, two to go. I think there's enough from my scrounging to go ahead and fix the other two before they go out. It's only a matter of time. Next week I'll deploy every Duke's I have and there's more coming from a friend. 'Gonna be a little "ethnic cleansing" on this ranch.

I think I've figured out why the owner of Outdoor Addictions doesn't respond/answer. Some feeders last for 20, 30 years, like my old Sweeney. Others, not so much.

I've got 6 Z-Traps just sitting in storage, if you need them I can drop them off on the way to/from the lease. Headed back that way Friday night.
