BucEes Katy is back down around $9.85, but that may be some of last years they’re trying to clear out. Outside of season, I’ve been caught with some bags of weevils but generally it’s pretty good

With corn prices being down some, I wonder if deer corn will be a little cheaper this year? 2.2 million more acres planted this yeat than last.

$13.00 a 50 lb bag at our local feed-store, up about $2.00 from last year.

My experience has been.....that once prices of feed/corn go up, they rarely go back down any significant amount.

I agree. Of course, right after I bought several off-the-ground alfalfa bale cages/feeders, the price per bale shot up. bang

Wow. Thats a lot cheaper than what we have been seeing at Bucees in NTX. Do you know if they have been that low ongoing or has that been a recent big drop. Ill buy a pallet tomorrow in Denton so I will report as usual.

Don’t know how long it’s been that low Free. We always make a stop there on our monthly trip to B/CS to see the grand kids.

Bastrop and Katy BucEes are always cheaper than NTX for corn, guess we’re closer to the source. I travel through the state regularly and always compare the corn pricing and we’re always at least a couple, if not a few bucks less expensive

$8.95 for 50# at Katy BucEes as of yesterday afternoon

Producing a lot more corn this year, I believe it's got to go down some. Stores have to get rid of last years corn first though.

Still early, we personally probably wont cut until Nov. Unfortunately I didn't contract much so probably just bag and wait and see what winter prices do. But yes I think prices go down well in to Dec.

Dang $3 difference from one Bucees to another is huge!!
Good to know-so I won’t expect NTx to come down soon just cause others are low.
I think I’ve got a feed trailer and bulk corn source on Red River right from the farmer so may not matter for us. Easily close enough to go get a load and put it right out without storing.

Right! I keep a close eye for when our guys in east Texas buy bulk. One of the poor guys just bought 12,000# bulk that came in right around $0.24/lb, which would be $12 for a 50# bag. $9/bag would be $0.18/lb

Couldn't believe it when my son sent me a notice on Facebook about cleaned, bagged deer corn at $6.75 per 50 lb bag about 9 miles from my house in Inez at South Texas Milling off Ragsdale road.. A young man even loaded it up. They sell a 40 bag pallet load for $270 with a days notice. Took about 5 minutes to get and pay for my corn.
