I was led to believe this was Covid Lite. After going through it for 4 days now, I’m going to say, at least for me, this is not the case. I’ve had influenza that was as bad but probably not worse. This has been the snottiest illness I’ve ever had for sure. Y’all take care if you get it.

I’m on about day 10, I’d say around day 7 I was at 75%

I haven't been sick in years..........

Mine started with a 24 hour fever then congestion and headache is what had with it. Symptoms went away after 3-4 days.

A few things I’ve noticed

-All water tastes like it has sweetened artificially. As in sweet n low has been added.

-My favorite taqueria has this green sauce and sometimes they surprise you and it’s hotter than hell. Well, no matter what now, it’s never too hot for me anymore.

I can still taste but stuff taste more bland, and it’s only certain things.

Sinus stuff sucks. Hope you get better soon.

Just think how bad it would have been without the 4 shots.

I know about a dozen folks that got Omicron and they all responded differently.
For me it lasted about ten days before I was back to running solid.
I was okay every morning, I wanted to go to the shop, I felt great. But by mid-afternoon I was on the couch. I still got in 10-12 hours of office work a day, but it took everything that I had after lunch. I did notice a little improvement every day after about day 4, I hope you are past the worst of it.

It moved into my ears yesterday so I had to deal with that complication too.

I had the worst sore throat ever. Felt like swallowing glass...for 3 days solid. So bad I didn't eat or drink, then I got dehydrated. I was out of commission for 2 weeks.
This was last January.

I filled both ears with hydrogen peroxide until the bubble sound stopped and then flushed with alcohol to dry them. That’s been my ear infection quick fix for a long time and it works great.

With a couple of new variants since Omicron I'm wondering how you know it is Omicron. Curious if you took Ivermectin as well.

I know somebody that got a positive test about a month ago, which variant was never known. One dose of Ivermectin and was much better in one day, and about completely well in 2-3 days.

My sister is trying to get over it. She has severe asthma and Lupus which has made things worse for her. They were looking at admitting her because her blood pressure shot through the roof even on bp meds. The pfizer drug helped and then 3 days later she had a rebound. She's been fighting this junk for 2 weeks now. Hopefully she is on the other side of the battle now, as she says today is her first day without brain fog and her bp is back to normal. I got the booster for omicron on Tuesday. Not in the mood to deal with it.

I got over it two weeks ago. It lasted 7 days which was twice as long and worse than when I had c19 in December of 2020. Sinus headaches were much worse the second time.

I damn sure wouldn't take that Pfizer crap they're peddling as it seems everyone gets a second round of virus.

We are up to BA.5 omicron. Reading through these posts, if taste is an issue or things are off with your taste, good chance your zinc is low. Take some zinc pills and it will help. I got the worst metallic taste ever when I caught delta and couldn't eat because everything tasted super salty or had a terrible metallic after tasted. MD told me to take large amounts of zinc and within 48 hours it was gone.

Fever- Tylenol 650-975 at a time. Don't go over 3g/day as it can be hard on the liver. Can substitute Ibuprofen in between to help but make sure you have something in the belly when taking the profen, otherwise you'll be seeing GI for stomach ulcers.

Fatigue - was terrible with delta. Can't speak for omicron but most I see with it don't even really know they have it. To the OP that is struggling with it, HYDRATE HYDRATE HYDRATE! Most times people are feeling really crummy is because they are dehydrated and Covid naturally depletes electrolytes. May even need a visit to an urgent care for a quick IV bolus and I bet you feel tons better.

Good luck, hate its still lingering after all this time, but it probably won't truly ever go away. They did a good job making this one.

I think they have turned loose another variant. My daughter it on day 15 and still not over it.

I’ve drank a crazy amount of water and fruit juice so far which has seemed to keep me hydrated. The hour or so has been the best I’ve felt so far so maybe I’m headed in the right direction.
