Very nice...Good choice on the Aimpoint T1. I have two and they are great!

I have a Leupold scope on LaRue mounts that will let my old eyes group 5 shots in 1-1/2" at 100yds. I believe the rifle will do better if I can settle the shooter down. Unlike Toby Kieth, I am not as good as I once was or even as good once as I ever was.

But, I am very surprised with the T1. It has a 4moa dot. If I turn it down and take a steady hold from the shooting bench, I am getting 2 inch groups at 80 yards. The trick seems to be remembering how your sight picture looked and how much target the dot covers and duplicating the hold. I am probably not explaining it right.

The Bill Springfield trigger job is the only way to go, IMO. I have two rifles with excellent JP triggers. I don't think I like them any better than Bill's $40 trigger job.

You are right. I almost talked myself out of the T1 because of the larger dot. It is awesome and I am saving my Cabelas points for another one.

Rainier. If you check the notification option, they will email you when the barrel you want is in stock.

No. I bought and traded for all of the parts over the past few months. I did not think I was going to use a LaRue BCG or LaRue lower. I got the lower in a trade and then saw the BCG for sale on another forum. I originally had a Colt BCG and a S&W lower in mind. I just got lucky on some of the parts.

I agree and I appreciate it. I buy a lot of ammo with my credit card points. I can't buy a LaRue lower with those points, so it was a good deal both ways. up
