I need some help to improve my morning and all day long beverage - coffee. Can't seem to find "the one" taste. Have tried Dunkin, Starbucks, Community, Folgers, MacDonalds, Maxwell House, Arbuckles....looking for a morning blend, don't mind grinding. Thanks. R

Starbucks French roast whole bean has a distinctive flavor that I like a lot. I haven’t had anything else that is like it before.

Death wish coffee, best flavor and high caffeine. Buy it on Amazon. It tastes amazing. I drink mine straight.

Find a local roaster and get something fresh if possible. Ideally you want to grind & brew within the 3-10 days after the roast date.

Coffee del Rey based out of Plano is fantastic and ships fast if you don’t have any good options within driving distance.

If you like a dark black, nutty taste, cafe du monde. Kroger and Wally world usually have it. Definitely a distinctly different coffee.

Still go back to Community Breakfast Blend or their Hotel Dark Roast.

I've tried dozens, most are cost prohibitive, 12oz packages.

i ruin mine with Nut Pod almond creamer and Coffeemate no Sugar sweet creamer.

Dietitian wants me to cut out real half n half. Really wants me to drink it black

But my morning coffee is the highlight of most days.

My hands-down favorite is Vanelli. He is a world-class Barista and owns a Michelin star coffee house in Tuscany (Italy) He small-batch roasts his own. My favorite coffee is his Classico blend. Expresso - Kenya Thika

On the cheap side... Mayan Blend from Costco isn't bad. @ $6.50-7.00 a pound.

I’ve become a fan of the HEB brand coffee. Texas Pecan and San Antonio.

We like their regional flavors as well, blows that basic Folgers out of the water.

It doesn’t taste right because it’s coffee.

Costco has Starbucks French Roast. $18 for 2.5 pounds= $7.20 per pound for really good bold coffee. They also have a Kirkland brand medium blend roasted by Starbucks for even less money ($15 for 2.5 pounds). Coffee grinders in the store or do it at home in a blender.

I guess I’m not picky. Having worked in the slums of Dallas for 16 years mostly after midnight, I’ve learned to be happy if it’s hot. At home it’s Folgers

Seattle’s Best, Post Alley or 6th Ave. Bistro. Both are dark roast and carried by Walmart. $7.84 for 20oz.
