Paralegal..................Dallas pays the most and she should make that within 2 years after getting her certification.

What subject did she teach, or was it all/Elementary school type?

Paralegal is right out if the firm does work for Coke. She doesn't help Coke's diversity numbers requirement.

low stress is something that is hard to find in the real world- a big part of stress is the individual's ability to handle stress

if she teaches in a large school maybe try a small school; if public school maybe try a private school,

she might try teaching in an industrial setting. big corporations and govt agencies have instructors for all sorts of internal classwork training- computer skills, safety, HR, osha compliance, all sorts of compliance actually. instructors for these classes are a mixed lot- many have prior experience but also many come from teaching

I wish her luck, my only real suggestion is moving to a smaller district than she’s teaching in now.

If she’s willing to work bad hours, manual labor, and can score high enough on the Bennet Mechanical I can put her to work making more. I know, not appealing but it’s all I’ve got.

How does she feel about being a truck driver? She'll make that starting out. She'll just have to deal with long, bad hours. It's a mindless low stress job for the most part.

Her life and her decision, she’s an adult, let her figure out what she wants to do. Too many people try to please the parents. Been in those shoes and I did what I wanted to do.

My wife has taught for like 13 yrs maybe more. Switching grades a couple times has helped her when she was stressed and burnt out. Then she decided to get her masters in school counseling. So maybe she can continue to educate the youth but in a different role if interested. If not good luck finding what she wants.

Finally. Great solution. My daughter started in the opposite direction and ended up teaching.

Get her RN and specialize in admin such as DON of nursing homes or even get administrators license. Big money in taking care of nursing home people when they’re dying...not so much in keeping them alive such as RN hospital work.
One of my daughters taught for 4yrs then became a nurse and more than doubled her teaching salary. Now she’s DON of two privately owned “retirement homes” and making major bank.

Is there really a stress-free occupation? The key is leaving work at work when you walk out the door at quitting time.
