Think Sam is still remembering how tall Collin Johnson was last year. He overthrew his receivers too many times. He does give his all to the game. Defensive line and offensive line may need new coaches again. Maybe Tom Herman needs to do some soul searching. Buyout is $25,000,000. chump change for texas if they want it to happen bad enough. I bet there's some guys that are ready to open up the check books.

He has been off for the last three games. I dont know what is going on, but he keeps missing receivers.

I saw him twice in austin last year and we sat in the end zone on purpose. I actually like that view better lol. Anyway Sam's accuracy isn't all that good. His receivers make him look pretty damn good most of the time.

Ehlinger we will get a 5th or 6th round drafting. May make a roster, definitely a practice squad.
He’s a top 10 QB coming out this year.

If he keeps playing like he has been, he might have to come back for another year.

His accuracy is not very good To me he’s like Tebow, not a great arm but more accurate. Jalen Hurts got drafted high because of his endurance, versatility. Not his long ball. 10 QBs will get drafted. Look at the depth in the NFL, it’s an all time low.

He has some games where my son and I look at each other early on in games, and say he's off today.... gonna be a long game. Well thats been every game this year. He just hasn't looked right.

Ehlinger is what he's always been, a big body guy, 6'3", 240 I think they said today that doesn't mind running and takes hits. His passing is Ok but doesn't usually translate well in NFL, just ask Vince or RG3. That said, UT's biggest issue is its defense. Gave up a ton of rushing yards today.

Texas has a crap load of issues, the biggest being the run blocking...... the offense struggled running, and when Sam struggled they had nothing. This lead to 30 second three and outs. The defense was out there forever, and got no help from the offense. The D was tired, but they actually played a decent game.

Lol Being an OU grad, that is one of the most poignant communication things I've seen in a long time about the RR "Shootout"! Funny!

Where did SMU's QB come from? Arlington Lamar then UT then transferred to SMU. He was an elite 13 QB in the country and graded out I believe number 1 in his class at that camp. He's not an unknown quantity lol!

From memory, I believe Johnny, Robert Griffin and some guy who started at Ohio State (JT Barret?) all wanted to play for TU. Johnny was only recruited as a DB, Griffin as a WR and the eventual OSU QB didn't like wat he was told. Oh yeah, wasn't some guy named Drew considered to be too short for TU before he headed off to Purdue and then a lil' bit of success in the NFL? Wasn't Baker reared in their back yard? Now they have thick legged Sam, who is better than a decent college QB, but in the process, they "ran off" Buechelle. Not the first time something like this has happened. I still recall TU demoting the reigning conference offensive player of the year (or was it two time?) in favor of some NFL QB's son.
I can also look at how Priest Holmes and Charles were under utilized in college and must come to the consideration they were just better suited for the NFL (huh?).

Personally, I'd rather have a QB to run an offense. Maybe it is all Herman, but I see a pattern regardless of who is the HC.

Herman needs to go because his four year project is a chet show. I know bad undisciplined football when I see it. All is a direct reflection of the coach. He has been given everything. He damn near doubled the size of his staff, he opened up a bunch of new positions. He has the facilities, he has the players. Texas gave him everything he asked for, and the results are probably gonna be a 6-4 season if not worse.
One of my biggest reasons to get rid of him is him marching the team on the capital, and taking three days off from training because of the idiot that was shot by police somewhere....... instead of getting ready for football they wanted to get rid of the eyes of Texas, and change things at the university. Some were talking about sitting out the season in protest. If you promote this behavior then you'd better have the team ready come game time...... Word has it that there is a riff in the locker room. The team is a mess right now, I put this on the environment that herman has created. If the focus all preseason was on football maybe I could see another year, but I think the team has personally been hamstring by Herman.
Don't for one second think those boosters have forgotten what Herman encouraged the team to do this summer.
