We are in the process of getting our permit to harvest deer under the new deer predation program. We are in Tom Green county and need to shoot deer to get them out of the cotton fields. Anyone interested in free deer meat? We need to thin them out and we'll shoot as many as we can give away.

I'm pretty sure the GW will have people already lined up.. at least when we got them.... As soon as they hit the ground they put a red tag on them and they where hauled off... might want to check on that.

There are organizations that will take the meat for the hungry. I think one of them is called Hunters for the Hungry or something like that. If you have a lot of deer meat to get rid of you could look those groups up.
