Went to a B-Day party up in Hurst this past weekend and my GF's family got chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, biscuits, etc... from Babe's. I've seen people post on here before how good it was, but good isn't even the word. That was awesome. The corn was out of this world and so was everything else. I usually only like homemade fried chicken, but this place is the exception.

You can stop in Garland and get hooked up with some "BABES"
cooking. On Beltline I think....

I eat at the one in Frisco, its one of my favorite restaurants, the chicken is awesome, and I can't stop eating those fresh biscuits.

Babe's is great. Anybody ever tried anything other than the fried chicken? Everytime I go I can't bring myself to order anything else.

I havn't had anything there I didn't like except the corn. Unlike everyone else, I think it's too sweet. The pot roast is out of this world.

I like the chicken tenders. Used to eat at the one in Carrolton when I worked in the area.

Babe's is incredible! Their corn recipe is identical to the corn my grandma used to make growing up. We called it "fried corn", but it's essentially corn cut off the cob, with milk, sugar, salt...cooked in a skillet. Really good!

Used to coach one of my old players was a kid of a part owner.
He gave us cards for free food all the time.

I sure miss that kid......

I went there for the first time tonight and all I can say is... Awesome!! Everything from the green beans to the cfs was great. Loves the biscuts with the cane syrup on them for dessert!
