how often do you have your game camera go off? i was going to try 25 secs between photos. any advice

I set mine @ 5 min when on feeders and 1M taking 3 shots when they are set up on the edge of the field (no feeder there).

i usually do 30 seconds on feeder and the shortest delay on fields/scrapes

I had mine on the shortest delay possible, and 3 shots in a row. But I started filling up my SD cards, and had to cut it back. Right now I have them set to take 2 pics and wait 5 minutes. Still had at least 500 pics on each of my camera in 7 days, some had way more than 500.

You don't have a buckeye, do you? The moultries and other similar cameras will have lots of pics with nothing in them. If you get a good cam you will not have that anymore.

I don't have many blank pics on my moultrie cams... when I do it is mostly birds flying by and sometimes it catches them... dang corn eatin' bluebirds.

I can buy like 5 Moultries for the price of one of them doodads...
I'll stick with my Moultrie... its not that hard to switch out the SD card and delete the blank pictures anyways...
You will have to buy 20 of them to last as long as a buckeye. Spend now, or spend later. And they are only 400 so even the cheapest moultrie you won't get 5. Plus the buckeyes come with the SD card, the charger, and the battery.

Nope, wish I did. Then I could get them cheaper. But when I find a product that works 100% of the time and doesn't need to be sent in for replacement all the time then I tell others. You won't see me giving thumbs up to very many products, but when I find on that does what it is supposed to then I let everyone know. I wasted lots of money on the cheaper cams. Everything from moultrie to leafriver. Now I buy buckeye, besides it is the only one made in the U.S.

Just saw some of the pics from your camera and they look pretty good (both the pics and the deers) I think I'll stick with the camera I got for now though. Just wanted to see if anybody else what getting pictures of moving trees

I get them on my moultries, and my leaf river. How do you have your cam mounted? If they are mounted to trees, especially smaller ones you will get a lot more movement. I have mine mounted to a homemade stand, with a small cover over them. It seems to keep the cam protected from most of the rain and direct sunlight.

perfect set-up for someone worried about moving trees.   bottom right hand corner.... had over 200pics of that piece of grass moving when a cold front blew in... what happens when I put up a cam at 3am and have 'head up rear syndrome'.  this set-up also gave me 1600pics in 4 days... 250 of deer, the rest were of limbs moving...

the grass is tall enough to trigger it...and the trees behind the feeder are close enough to do it as well.

Hanging the cam on something that moves is a huge problem, done it myself.
I've gone through many different set-ups due to having cattle on my ranch. Most of our trees aren't big enough to hang them high, and even then the coons would crawl up to them and move the camera.
The mounting system on my cameras is able to ratchet down on a t-post, but the cows will rub and chew on them this way.
Recently I've built "camera pens" as funny as that sounds. These are made from the 5 foot tall 4x4 cattle panels, in a square. I made mine about 4ftx4ft but they don't even need to be that big. I cut out some squares for the sensor and camera lense and haven't had problems since.

well if the grass was higher and the trees the same..then the tree the cam is mounted on could very well be what's moving and triggering the cam.

Thanks I was having trouble mounting them on my place, because most of my trees are small pines. And I had a few moultries that were letting water in. This was the cheapest thing I could think of.
