After seeing the post the proud father of the new US Air Force Airman he had in his family, I thought it would be a great thing to honor our kids serving in the Military. Here is my son serving in the US Navy.

Here's my son, Seaman Appentice Schwind. No, that's not the Pacific in the background. It's Lake Ray Roberts. Mom made him do family pics in uniform. He loves the Navy, but misses Texas, especially when hunting season rolls around.

I had a friend on the USS Stennis that was photograper mate, and she used to send me some great pictures

BTW, I was raised in Sumter SC and was stationed at Shaw, it is truly a great place.

The beach...you know that was the first thing she had to find out about before anyting else. I pick on her all of the time telling her she has been on a two year vacation and it is time for her to go to work. LOL!!
