thats a hard one buddy, i bet its reall thick in there too an thats the only clear spot. if you have to use the trail, the deer and other game will make a new one. we had a place where ceder cutter came down and cut tons of ceder an just let them lay. they coverd game trails all over, but the deer just made new ones

I would try to clean out another trail in with a machete that would make for a straight shot into the stand area. Will also create another trail that will bring them into the stand area. (Just based off observations, I usually find a lot of ground scrapes where heavily used game trails cross human trails)

Yall are right it is real thick I went to set up my game cam so I could post some pics and also tried to find another way into the place but I face 1 major problem the way in is young pins that I cant touch so I have to twist and weave through the stuff and I think I could find another way just I would make so much noise going and leaving the stand I don’t know if it would be worth it

Sometimes you can't avoid using a game trial to access a blind, so what I do is find the closest trail that isn't a major trial, and try cut back enough limbs as not to have to touch anything with my clothing, and I usually wear rubber boots as to not leave my scent behind.
You do that and the trail will still be used by the deer.
Also if you cut a trail, the deer will use it also, so it won't hurt your chances, especially if you just try to not leave scent where you walk.
As for peeing, I heard people do that and no doubt it will not alarm the deer if it's not foreign to them, say like you do it often.
You can get deer used to anything as I've heard some people hang an old sweaty shirt in their stand a few weeks before the season and once a week freshen the stand up with a new sweaty shirt and then when the season comes around they are presumably used to the smell of you!
Would I do it? No! I believe you pay attention to the wind and try to stay as scent free as possible and everything else works itself out naturally.

or you could use the trail and have a drag rag with doe picc on it so the bucks come to ur stand following the scent

im going to try finding a trail close to it but its going to be hard since i cant really cut anything in that area i will have a very wavy trail using a combination of other game trails that are not used nearly as much as the one that i have been using to walk in on
and someone els told me that idea about using doe urine has anyone tried that? The way they told me is to spray some on the bottom of your shoe as you walk in is that what your talking about?

I used a drag soaked in doe estrus pee one time to get into a stand & sure enough a buck followed that drag trail like I had him on a rope. I've tried it a few times since with no luck though

I'll step in doe or fox urine prior to walking ANY trail to my stand. Works fairly well from my experience. Rarely if ever get busted on scent. But my favorite hunting boots tend to have to live in the garage from Oct-Jan....

Scents will work great...especially using the doe in heat, I tend to see bucks chasing does off and on from the first of Oct-mid Jan. I don't think scent will be the problem, but it all depends on what everything else in the area looks like. If it's a block of timber nestled in the middle of a bunch of hayfields... walking through bedded deer may present a prob.
