I had a quail lease in Loving years ago. Wasn't many deer in that area at that time. New Castle was further West. Keep asking, someone will know.

Well if that is the same place as Newcastle about 15 miles west of Graham, I'm in the area. My lease is about 15 miles north of Graham.

Check out the Hole in The Wall Cafe there and you will see the buck pictures from the last five years of their Big Buck Contest on the wall. You won't be disappointed!

And while you are there try their Hogburger, 2 8oz. hamburger patties, 2 slices of ham, 2 slices of bacon, all the trimmings. You won't be disappointed.

We just got on a place north west of there and it seems to have some big deer and a few of em, lots of hogs and turkey. Good area just need to make sure of the usual things maybe more than other areas, Water, food source(fields), bedding areas(thick woods).

We are nw of Newcastle. Got the place last year and we are over run with bucks. Alot of young ones and a few culls, but with fedding year round we will harvest some nice bucks. Hogs a plenty and I mean plenty. We have only caught one trukey on camera. Its a good area, hope this helps and good luck.

I'm already celebrating. I just hope the guy who owns our old lease can get some hunters.

I have some friends that have 300 acres West of Newcastle about 8 miles. I have hunted there and seen nice bucks. They have over a mile of Brazos River frontage so you can just imagine how intense the hog population is. You better be pretty tough if you go to the Hole in The Wall. There is a couple of old timers in there all the time talking about all the people they have whooped over the years.LOL

There's no bragging rights in whooping me. Then again it may not be easy if you can't catch me.
