Shot enough quail for dinner near lake Kemp opening weekend. Found several covey all with 20-30 birds. Lots of fun! Love3 hunting Quail! so does the lab. They're good wrapped in bacon too. First time I hunted this area so I don't know if its a good or bad year. Seemed liek plenty of birds though.

We had quail last night. Fried quail, redeye gravy and biscuits. Not much better table fare at our house. Waist line keeps expanding, but what the heck.

I wasn't aware that there was any other way to prepare them. LOL
