If your thinking about LE, Odessa PD is activley hiring. Your best bet is to be out of the academy and ready to hit the streets. Pay is great and the days off are nice. You work 4 on 3 off, and rotate shifts, every 3 months. All gear with the exception of boots is furnished. Odessa is a City of just over 100,000 and growing.
