This is my game camera picture. At first I thought Bobcat, But I have yet to find a photo, online or otherwise of a bobcat with spots like this one. This is from my East Texas lease. I've talked to several people that said it is not a bobcat so I started looking into the possibilities. Talk to me people !

Jaguar

Ocelot

I hate to be the downer here but its a bobcat. The tail gives it away. Maybe a mix, I dunno...

The end of the tail could be pointing right at the camera, making it look short. I have never seen a bobcat with markings like that. I can't even find a pic of a bobcat like that.

Helomech, I agree. I searched the web for a bobcat with markings like that, NONE. It has to be the jag or the ocelot.

whatever it is it's not scared of that opossum or whatever that is above it in the picture.

I'm pretty sure that is an ocelot. I've never seen a bobcat with spots like that.

Its not a jaguar, jaguars are pretty big.

I wish you had another pic with a better view of its face. I found plenty of pics of ocelots with spots like that, and not a single bobcat with spots even close. In fact, every single ocelot pic I found had spots like that.

Its tail could have been hurt, or like someone else said it could be angled toward the camera. I doubt very seriously its a bobcat.

I agree, I don't think that cat is a bobcat. If someone can show me one pic of a bobcat with spots like that I will eat crow.

You don't know, so you can't say anything 100%. plus you already gave your opinion two post earlier that it was a bobcat.::

Contrary to some advice given above I say DO NOT shoot that animal, on the small chance that it is an ocelot. The ocelot were on the endangered list at one time and I think the "texas ocelot" may still be protected,(but I'm not sure so I wouldn't say 100%)

Here are some links that might be of interest.

I found this paragraph interesting.

This small cat weighs 15-30 pounds and averages 3 feet 9 inches in length. Its coat has black spots, bars, and stripes on a rich tan to gray background, with irregular black dots on a white underside and dark bars on the tail. The more numerous bobcat (Lynx rufus) has a longer tail, heavier, larger spots and more rounded ears.

Its a bobcat 100% sure . Go to north american animals bocat. Do a google and you can find pics like that. I have never seen one that clear but seen one close to it.
