Hey folks, I need some help, please. I am trying to surprise my hubby with a quail hunt in the Lubbock area around Nov. 9-10. We will be in Lubbock for my dad's 80th b-day (which he is providing a fish fry for about 75-100 people). Since hubby's b-day is 4 days before my dad's, I thought it might be neat to find him a place to hunt for half a day for a birthday surprise. I probably can't afford a full out paid hunt as we are footing the bill for most of my dad's birthday but can pay something. Is there anyone in the area that would be willing to take a retired fireman out? He's just an old (57)country boy that hunts and that loves to eat quail lol. Thanks for any help you can give me! ~ Sign me "Lost When it Comes to Hunting" Wifey
PS I could probably trade a fishing trip at Lake Tawakoni where we live!
