this scared me!

he is still there, last pic was about 1am yesterday morning, but he hasn't been seen in daylight in over 2 weeks. he was only there 3 days last week too, there are acorns falling and I am assuming they are keeping him from the feed for now. I poured out about 200lbs yesterday and will again Friday.





I don't really have a plan B on this place, my buddy gets first shot at him, but he turned out pretty nice too.

I think you have the terminology down.

You will get different opinions on what is a "cull". For me it is a buck that is not very good antler wise for his age class. He is "culled" out of the herd when your bucks numbers are high and need to take bucks off. You are not wanting that buck to breed any longer. The word "cull" is used in the cattle industry so it just carried over into deer management.

Dude, be careful with that stuff. You are liable to be overrun before you finish pouring it out and spraying it. I heard this happened to a fella just this summer.
