I'm posting this because I'm shocked on wait times for the Form 4s we got back on Saturday. Sent in mid-April, received back September 20th. 5 months is getting to be much better.

That is the best news I've heard in a while. I can't remember the exact date I submitted, but I'll be thrilled if I get mine back before December. That would be AWESOME!

I'll take 5 months or less. Last time I paper filed was almost 11 months.
I really do think Trusts should be faster after the first time. The first one, I guess maybe there is something they check in it. But once it's approved for the first one, then all the subsequent ones should be quick since almost nothing changes.
It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

I think having form 1s & 2s online helps lighten the load for the examiners, I wouldn't be surprised if we see faster paper form 4 times.
I hope my paper form 4 comes back in 5, i'd be happy with that

According to NFA Tracker, they are on February paper Form 4s right now. Your April submission might have been lucky.
It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

Im still waiting on 5 stamps sent in Dec 2013 I got my personal Form 4 filed December 8th early August. In August we got back about 10 Form 4s from December.

I e-filed both mine in March. My .30 cal can on the 6th of March and my Osprey 45 on the 3rd of March. I received my .30 cal can in mid July (cant remember the exact day). But, I'm still waiting on the Osprey 45. Can't figure out why that one is taking so long.
