I recently went to the Texas Wildlife Association Conference in San Antonio and met one of the exhibitors Lon Krieger who is a Dealer for Vortex Optics and a local guy. I had a chance to view all their new products (scopes, binoculars, and mounting systems) I purchased a new Vortex Viper scope for myself and one for my son.I have already mounted mine on my 22-250 and I am very happy. I called several places that sell Vortex products before I made my purchase and his price was a good bit less. Mr. Krieger told me if I had any friends interested in trying Vortex products to contact him directly at 512-618-8880 and mention you are a Texas Hunting Forum Member.

I spoke to Lon Krieger today and he advised me he will have a booth at the Texas Deer Association Convention in San Antonio August 7th 8th and 9th at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort on TPC parkway for anyone that wants to come by and visit with him.

I also met Lon at the TWA Conference, great guy. Picked up an illuminated 56mm hog scope. His prices are excellent and he will match anything out there. Don't forget to ask for a hat, generous guy.
