So this weekend we are going to the lease to get stuff ready for season. How early do yall put the pop up blinds out before season starts so the deer can get use to them? I always seem to get busted when I put it out the day before so this year I am gong to try a lot earlier. Will the pop up blind hold in the weather or should I just wait a week before bow season? Thanks yall for the help!

Mine are already out. I think the earlier the better on pop ups.

Mine won't hold up at all, it's just a cheapo. I need to buy a good one that will last. I've got my eye on one though

A month works for me, I have one main feeder I hunt with a bow and three more I hunt with guns, but this year I want to build some ground blinds on the others to adjust for wind changes. I guess I'd better get my butt out there and get to work, to get the deer used to them.

Depends if it is out in the open or in the thicket and brushed in.

It also depends on hunting pressure, deer density and maturity of the deer. I would at least say two weeks.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

Alright well thanks yall! I will put mine up this weekend I guess. We have one family on our lease this year that really likes to put a lot of pressure on the deer

Good luck Bubba hope you have a successful season; and sux you have that family on your lease. I'm so glad I've never had to worry about a lease and other hunters, that's got to suck big time.

Well put it out yesterday! I would like to say I brushed it in pretty dang good. I put it in one of our food plots about 20 yards away from the protein feeder! Lets hope all goes well
