Wow! I saw my first covey on my Grandads ranch in Northern Coleman Co. Only 6 birds but these are the first Ive seen in about 15 years. It use to hold 8-10 covies. I will try to protect these.

I've been hearing a lot of them this year but have yet to see one. At least I'm hearing them, much better than the last few years.
