After 7 months of practice last year I went on 2 bow hunts. New Mexico Elk & Illinois deer and never even put my release on my D-loop. I am hunting my buddies land this year in Navarro County. Small piece of land with little to no deer but he does have hogs. For the last 8 months I have watched these coons (sometimes 10+ at a time) eat my corn. Decided to thin the heard and let the Rage eat. 30 yard shot Entrance Exit

I'm not a mechanical guy but if I was going to use one that would be my number one choice. I have used Grim Reapers for one season when they first came out, they did a good job too. I'm just so hung up on heavy thick two blade heads, as a knife maker I have the means to put a razor edge on them over and over again, with a 2000 grit belt.

I don't use my expensive heads on coons but do enjoy killing every one I can.

I am not a mechanical guy either I bought some Rage's & T3's when I first started shooting so they are my leftovers and just sit in the case which is why I used them. I hunt with Solid Broadhead Company's 2 blade.

I usually take a few out during the season, but I always use a cheap broadhead instead of one of my rages. Coach

Very nice, dang corn thieves are a pain. I'll tell what's a corn thief; DONKEYS! We had eight of them show up three years ago and no one around there knew who's they were. We called everybody, the sheriff, the game warden, found out an old man died and his wife just let them go. We were told to shoot them, which we couldn't. Finally we just turned off all the feeders; it ruined the whole season, they ran off everything, deer, turkeys including all the pigs (and we have tons of them).. So far the last two years have been fine. So I don't mind sharing a little corn, but certainly not all of it. BTW, we do see a coon every now and then and we do shoot them too.

I would have shot some donkeys....nothing is gonna run off my deer and get away with it.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Be hard to pass a donkey off as exotic...but hey seen you do stranger things! Think I am getting closer to deciding on where I am going on my Big hunt for the year. Spending the cash(large sum for me)and going after a Red Stag!
