Have a lot of Cabelas bucks built up but if I can pick up a shotgun for cheaper I would wait a little longer. Anyone know if they run an "annual" sale?

Bass Pro just sent me a flyer for their "Fall Hunting Classic", August 1-17. I looked through it but I wouldn't exactly call it a "sale" when it came to shotguns.

What kind of shotgun? If its anything other than a Rem 870 or the like, its probably best to just search the net for the best deal. I doubt any big box sale would be able to beat some of the internet prices out there.

Big stores almost always have sales around holiday weekends. Doesn't dove season typically start around a holiday weekend?

Cabelas usually has quite a few scatterguns on sale before dove season, I would keep checking here on the Forum and waiting for my cabelas flyer.
