I see a black widow, looks like maybe the locust is right under the three leaves toward the bottom of pic?

Yes, sorry guys, pic looked better on phone before I loaded it. I heard the wings of a locust rustling and went to investigate and there was a widow wrapping it up. Thought it strange for a widow to take on such large prey.

The locust is on its back under the 3 leaves and the widow is on the top right of him injecting venom

I dont recall ever seeing a widow just in a bush like that, thought they liked dark and confined spaces

Picked up two cinder blocks friday at the lease. I looked in both of them and saw nothing. My nephew went to grab them later and there was a black widow in both of them. Don't know how I missed them?

those are the 2 red dots on the tail end of the widow?
