Anyone have any contacts for a large ranch out west to lease for 3-5 days for a blue quail hunt? Looking for Jan/Feb time frame. Mainly just need access and possibly lodging. We have our own rangers and all experienced quail guys. Varmints/Javalina a plus.
Just looking for a place to get away, cook out, and see some country. If we shoot some birds its a bonus.
Any leads would be appreciated.

You can't go wrong with Mulie_mike! We hunted the Big Bend area in Jan of this year for blues on a place we booked through him. We killed plenty of birds and had a blast. If my hunting buddy wasn't expecting a kiddo mid quail season, we'd probably be headed back down again this year.

U were who I thought of before I read all the OP. We saw good populations of quail on every place I have hunted with Mike. Good man to share a hunt/camp with also.

Mainstream news might be fun to watch
