Anyone ever heard of a feeder control unit that can controlled remotely? Like over the internet remotely, similar to a game cam?

I did a search but came up empty.

Thanks

Go into the Hog, Varmint and Small Game Hunting section and search for a thread on remote control hog trap setup. Should be able to rig up a TC to send you pics back so you then tie your spin feeder into it some how.

There are quite a few out there... just google "remote control game feeder" Here's one on Amazon.

They typically just attach in between your feeder motor and timer, some go directly to the timer depending on brand.

Those have limited range to work with, usually 125 yards or less. American Hunter used to sell them years ago for around $60. He is looking for something to control via the internet I believe.

Thanks Guys. Yes, I'm wanting one that I can control from home. The one on Amazon is essentially a "line of sight" contraption. I think the technology is out there, just not packaged for use with a feeder. If I knew enough about wireless technology and electronics, I could probably make a homemade one. But I don't know enough! I just want to be able to cut back my spin time a few seconds from time to time. Saves corn and would extend the corn in the feeder for more weeks.

I've thought about this, too. I can control my house lights, A/C-Heat, security, etc. with my IPhone...it would be nice to be able to program my feeder via my IPhone, as well, to set feed times/spin times, set the clock when daylight savings changes, etc.
