Got an email today from NMDGF saying I got drawn for my elk hunt. First year putting in and got my first pick drawn archery first season. I'm stoked.
Who else was successful.

My buddy in NM just got drawn for a Bow...Bull Elk tag near Cloudcroft.
Ill get more info and maybe we can all hook up and grab a beer.

Congrats!!! My group was drawn for our 3rd choice hunt, Unit 50 archery Elk. Will be the third year in a row hunting that unit. Gonna know that place like the back of my hand!!!

Yes. We didn't get lucky this year, put in for ML in 36 & 34 and rifle in 16. I don't remember when they issue the refunds though.

Yes. We didn't get lucky this year, put in for ML in 36 & 34 and rifle in 16. I don't remember when they issue the refunds though. I know if you are unsuccessful your license will be refunded but I think the fee for the tag is not.

We barely got in with our third choice unit 2B muzzle loader for deer. Hadn't been drawn since they changed the tag allocation a couple of years ago.
