Hi guys, new to the forum. I just got my new pup Ruby a couple weeks ago so I will probably have a ton on questions. She will be my first dog in adulthood, first dog to train, hopefully introduce me to upland hunting as well. We already go on daily walks in the woods, she retrieves puppy bumpers regularly, flash/sight points 'things' when we are out, has been introduced to birds, knows a few puppy commands, crate training, and still working on housebreaking.

Congrats on the new pup. If you haven't yet I would look into joining a local club and get with others like your self to do training with. there are three great clubs in the metroplex. Lone Star HRC, Big D HRC and Cowtown HRC
