Took a few hrs with the makers mark but we got it done, the little 4' bench wasn't cutting it so me and my neighbor put together a ten footer. We used ratchet straps for the top to pull them in nice and tight and it worked out pretty good. cheers

10' Long
42" Tall
32.5" Deep

11 2 x 6 x 10
10 2 x 6 x 8
2lbs of 2-1/2" wood screws

All said and done it cost me around $130

That's extremely heavy duty for a garage work bench. Looks great!

I ended up buying a 4ft steel bench for the garage, but one we get into a house, I'll likely build one like that

I can't stand to have everything on the ground. I had to build an 8x8ft set of shelves

Painted the walls Saturday granite grey and on Sunday I built the shelf. I built the shelves out of 2x2's and a sheet of plywood the left side is 8' and the right side is 116" with support studs every 16 inches with the shelves at 22 inches deep and a ceiling clearance of 21-1/2". The back side of the shelf is screwed into a stud with 3" screws and the main support comes from the threaded 1/4" rods hanging from the ceiling, I ran some eye bolts into the studs then hooked the turn buckles to the eye bolts. On the bottom of the rod I used fender washers and butterfly nuts. Guys I don't know what the weight capacity but it held me pretty damn good and I weigh 235lbs.

Here's the pics

Are you going to paint the benches and shelf granite grey or just leave them bare? I like the color.

I'm gonna leave them bare I also like the color but all the projects I have coming up I know for a fact the paint will not hold up to the abuse lol.
