Add them to the list.

This one hits me hard. Most of the time I see these signs in places I don't care to go back to and spend another dime. However, we shop here at least once per week and have friends and family employeed here, so I shopped here for groceries and for te support.

What are these big wigs thinking? Why would an AZ based company roll into Tx and throw up this kind of sign? Farewell Sprouts, and I hope other law abbiding citizens follow.

Would make it a nice target for armed robbery.

It's a health food store. A great one, but it's a health food store at the core. Aka hippie, aka liberal. Not surprising.

That's the beauty of a free market. They have the right to post their conditions of how they want to conduct their business.

And I have the right to refuse to do business with them.

I guess I'm a hippie because I enjoy top grade produce and organic meat? Wait, dont most of us prefer home grown vegetables and organic meat in the form of harvested game?
Tff, you may be surprised to know that the president and CEO is from Tx, not to say we don't have liberals and dems here, but he's not a Yankee or a west coast original.

I would venture to say most of those unlicensed have no idea what this sign means, so it's going to do more harm to their business than good IMO.

I'm waiting to hear how this is the fault of the open carry crowd.

Bottom line is, money talks. And their clientele is likely to lean more liberal than conservative. I shop there on occasion too. They have great produce.

Man...I'm getting to the point I need an actual list of places I don't shop at anymore. It just keeps growing. Products I don't buy, places I don't shop, it's getting ridiculous.

If one can't carry concealed, wonder if they'd get excited if I walked in with an AR 10 over my shoulder?

If you guys all keep adding "I won't shop there" stores to your list, pretty soon you will be forced to raise your own foods.....sorry to break the news to you guys, but as gun owners/toters we are seriously outnumbered......Joe Blow citizen has been conditioned by the Lame Stream media to fear guns and gun owners, as a store owner what would you rather lose, the 37% gun owner crowd, or the rest of your customers? It is simple math......

The Sprouts in Flower Mound also has the sign up, the manager said that it has been there for about a month.

I don't boycott but I don't care much for Sprouts either, so it's not an issue with me.

Go here and drop them a nice note saying you won't be shopping there anymore.

Back in May of 2012 I sent a letter to AMC theaters about their no concealed guns policy. I basically said that I wasn't going to make my family "fish in a barrel". In July the Aurora, Colorado theater shooting happened, I know it wasn't an AMC but the idea is the same. Criminals also know where gun are and aren't.
Does someone have a list of places that have 30.06 signs up? Although some may think it doesn't work, I'll boycott them. I think if they actually lost 37% (Concho's figure) of their business, it would make a difference.

Yes Turkey Hunter, I am sending them a note too.

Im glad some of yall won't go. It will make the lines shorter and allow me to get best picks of the by far best Steaks, Chicken, pork, and produce around. Prices are fair especially when on sale and store staff if helpful. To boycott a store because of a sign is just dumb.

I have to agree. Not that big a deal to me. Great food at great prices, right down the street from the Wife's house. Lines should get shorter too.

Standing up for something that you are passionate about Isn't necessarily dumb. Maybe ineffective, heck you may even be wrong, but dumb?
I wonder if some stores do this thinking it releases them of liability more than they are making a political statement? Because the obvious situation is still there, illegal guns will still enter and the thought of criminal trespassing with a weapon means nothing to someone that plans on killing people.

I sent them an email clearly explaining, nicely, that chl holders have been background checked, are not criminals, fugitives, addicts, or mentally incompetent. The type of people they should want in their stores, an that their stores are now more dangerous, not safer.

Oh really?

Is it not a valid comparison?
