Ok, so I'm looking at buying a new (or new to me) bow. I have about $500 to spend. I have found 2 used bows and I new bow in that price range. Which would be your pick?

1. PSE Bow Madness XS. Fully adjustable DL (25-30"), and DW (50-60#) and let off (65 or 80%) without bow press.

Components include:

Extreme Archery site with micro adjust for windage and elevation
Vapor Trail Pro V Limb Driver rest
STS rear mount string stopper
4 PSE limb bands (2 top, 2 bottom)
2 Limbsaver split limb super quads
3 Red PSE dampers
PSE Red cable slide rod
Peep
D-Loop
New and just installed limb pivot supports

2.2009 Mathews Drenalin compound bow. Mathews slim limb technology, gained FPS, while dropping weight and still keeping that great Mathews balance. It has a 29" DL, 65% let off, and has a 60-70 lb DW. It's in great condition.

Includes Tru Glo 5 pin, quick adjust site (windage and elevation), Fuse Axiom Stabilizer, trophy Taker Shakey drow away rest, new string stoppers, and string dampers. Cables, strings and all components are in great condition.

3. A brand new Bear Domain with their package from the factory.

I voted Drenalin but for your price point, buy a bowtech assassin.

Good luck!

I agree on the Assassin call, still my hunting rig, even though I also have an Elite. If you are looking for used bows, I would check out archerytalk. Have gotten some good deals off of there. Frankly in your price range used I would look for a Mathews DXT, Hoyt CRX32(there is a 2010 Alpha Max on AT right now for $410), Elite Z28 or Hunter.

Spend some more time looking and you will find a much better bow than the ones you listed.

I chose the bow madness because its a newer bow. With that said I AM A DIEHARD Mathews man.

I did don't know anything about 3rd bow but would probably go with a bow with a warramty.

If that was the only choices I had I would take the Drenalin. But I prefer a Bowtech

Heck no! He sold it before I was able to get back with him. That was a smoking deal.

You'll LOVE your destroyer!! if it is a 2010 model I believe it is (as is mine) the factory had a problem with this year coming out with bows that would get bad cam lean in them!! Mine has been ok so far ad I have had it since 2010, but the fact remains its out there!!

Lots of good bows out there. If I can help with a sight and quiver let me know. I am a dealer for Black Gold and Spot Hogg sights and Tight Spot quivers.

Good luck with your bow.

I voted for the PSE. I am a PSE guy. I wont shoot anything else although I know that there are several other companies out there that produce an outstanding bow. The reason that I went with the PSE is because it is adjustable. You should get your DL measured by a professional and know what it is. If you buy a non adjustable bow then you can always buy new cams to make get to your DL.

I have made several purchases off of AT. I bought my sights off there and got them CHEAP. New they are $250, I paid $80 for them and they were brand spanking new. Get on there an look around because like others have stated, you can get a mcuh better bow than you have listed for your price.

Domain is a good bow though just a single cam.

Like they always say... "Can't go wrong with a Bowtech"

Great choice, for sure! Get him to throw in any accessories?

I'm right there with you on the waiting. I'm hoping my Bowtech gets to me before the weekend after this one. 8 days ETA for me. Hopefully yours is less. The waiting is the hardest part frown
